Education & Training

Training is a vital part of the groups work.
All members need training before they may undertake care and or rescue of Wildlife.
Our training Courses are run regularly.
The dates and courses below are continually being updated so check back regularly

Basic Training Day – for new members

This is a one day course providing Basic Training to enable you to preform Australian Native Animals (excluding specialty species), and informs you of the legal requirements to do so as required by NPWS.

We are providing two different dates, a maximum of 10 people per day, if your date selected is full you will be notified, same schedule both dates.

Sunday 8th April 2018

OR

Saturday 14th April 2018

Time: 8:30am

  • 8:30am registration and meet and greet
  • 9am class starts
  • 11am 15 mins Morning Tea break
  • 12:45pm Lunch
  • 1:15pm class starts
  • 2:45pm 15mins Afternoon break
  • 5pm class concludes
