Rescuers & Carers are needed urgently

Becoming a member of our Wildlife Carers Network Central West Inc, is a wonderful step to becoming trained to rescue and care for our Native Wildlife.
All persons whom become a member, and would like to rescue and care for our native wildlife are required to do the Introductory Rescue & Care Course, when this is completed you’re able to further your Rescue & Care Skills by completing Specialist Species Training, such as Reptiles, Macropods, Bat, Possum, Birds and Raptors.

New members whom live in our Licenced (NPWS) area are most welcome to join & participate, please check the map as we would be very disappointed to inform you that your out of our area –WCNCW cover area v2017_11.

We do have a designated area of which our members need to be in.
Due to constraints by National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) , if you live out of our Licenced (NPWS) area we can not accept your membership form. If you do live outside of our limits, donations are more than welcome and most appreciated, and we hope you find a wildlife group near your home.

Introductory Training Day – Our Introductory Rescue & Care Course for new members

This is a one day course providing Basic Training (relevant to Wildlife Carers Network Central West Inc policy and procedures) to enable you to preform Australian Native Animals (excluding specialty species), and informs you of the legal requirements to do so as required by NPWS.

Completion of Introductory Rescue & Care – Basic Training is a requirement of all new members, to enable them to Rescue & Care for Native Animals.

We are providing two different dates, a maximum of 10 people per day, if your date selected is full you will be notified, same schedule both dates.m

Sunday 8th April 2018

Saturday 14th April 2018

Time: 8:30am

  • 8:30am registration and meet and greet
  • 9am class starts
  • 11am 15 mins Morning Tea break
  • 12:45pm Lunch
  • 1:15pm class starts
  • 2:45pm 15mins Afternoon break
  • 5pm class concludes
